Care Instructions for Suede Bags
-
Protect before use: Apply a suede protector spray before first use and reapply regularly to guard against water and stains.
-
Keep dry: Avoid contact with water, oils, and other liquids. If the bag gets wet, blot gently with a clean, dry cloth and allow it to air dry naturally — away from heat sources.
-
Clean gently: Use a soft suede brush or a suede eraser to remove surface dirt and restore the nap. Always brush in one direction.
-
Avoid overfilling: To maintain shape, don’t overfill the bag.
-
Store properly: When not in use, store the bag in a dust bag or pillowcase, and keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Stuff the bag lightly with tissue paper to help it hold its shape.
-
Avoid colour transfer: Be cautious when wearing with light-colored clothing, especially when the bag is new or damp, as suede can transfer dye.
